The eleven provincial and territorial nominee programs
Each program sets its own streams, eligibility rules and intake. Every card links to that government's own official page, which is where the current, authoritative requirements live — not to a summary that goes stale.
AAIPAlberta
Alberta Advantage Immigration Program
Our home province. Eight streams across worker and entrepreneur routes — Alberta Opportunity, Alberta Express Entry, Rural Renewal, Tourism and Hospitality, plus rural, graduate, farm and foreign-graduate entrepreneur streams.
OINPOntario
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program
Ontario has restructured: the new Ontario Workforce Priority stream has launched and all other OINP streams are now closed. Anyone planning around an older Ontario stream should check the current position before doing anything else.
BC PNPBritish Columbia
British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program
Nominates skilled workers, recent graduates, healthcare professionals and entrepreneurs, with a points-based registration system and regular invitation rounds.
SINPSaskatchewan
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program
Covers workers with Saskatchewan employment or in-demand skills, eligible graduates, and entrepreneur and farm applicants prepared to establish a business in the province.
MPNPManitoba
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program
Selects workers, international graduates and business investors, weighting a demonstrable connection to Manitoba — family, prior study, prior work or an employer relationship.
NSNPNova Scotia
Nova Scotia Nominee Program
Nominates workers, graduates, healthcare professionals and entrepreneurs whose experience answers provincial labour needs, with several streams tied to a Nova Scotia job offer.
NBPNPNew Brunswick
New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program
Nominates candidates meeting the province's workforce, demographic and business needs who can show a genuine intention to settle in New Brunswick.
NLPNPNewfoundland & Labrador
Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program
Nominates skilled workers, international graduates and entrepreneurs positioned to settle in the province, alongside the separate Atlantic Immigration Program.
PEI PNPPrince Edward Island
Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program
Selects workers and entrepreneurs whose skills, employment and settlement plans match the Island's current needs. PEI runs a small allocation and its intake is competitive.
YNPYukon
Yukon Nominee Program
Employer-driven, with Critical Impact Worker, Skilled Worker and Express Entry streams. Finding the Yukon job is the applicant's responsibility; the employer then initiates the nomination.
NTNPNorthwest Territories
Northwest Territories Nominee Program
Employer-driven, business and francophone streams. The NTNP is a clear example of how binding allocations are — it closed its 2025 intake on reaching a 300-application cap.
