- If you are a current student preparing for A Level/HSC, you must obtain good academic results to get admission to a standard institute. You have to achieve a good grade/GPA/CGPA in your last academic exam if you want to go for undergraduate/ post-grad education. You also need to achieve a good IELTS band score.
- Studying in Canada from Bangladesh without IELTS is somewhat possible, but it’s a complex and risky procedure. When you are going to study in a country where English is the first language, you must have reasonable confidence in English. If you can achieve over 6.5, that will be your safe position, but try not to get below 6.
- Determine in which region of Canada you want to go. Once you have finalized it, you must choose the institutions to which you will apply. There are many cheapest or low-cost universities in Canada, but the most popular and best universities are costly or difficult to receive an acceptance letter. Again, Language results will be a key parameter for the universities. So, where you want to study depends on your ability, budget and priority; you must choose wisely. It’s better to take expert guidance for that, if possible.
- After finalizing institutions, you can apply for admission as many institution as you want. If you can apply properly, hopefully, you will receive an Offer Letter or Letter of Acceptance (LoA) within a month or two.
- Scholarship in Canada from Bangladesh is very rare. To get a full scholarship, you have to be super talented. However, you will be eligible for some funds after admission to some institutes. Your academic background, results and IELTS score are some of the eligibility criteria for the funds.
- After receiving the offer letter, you must pay the tuition fees within the given time by the institute. You don’t need to pay the total tuition fees; you need to pay for the first semester/session initially, or they might give you the option to put some deposit to secure your spot. Canadian study cost varies and entirely depends on the program and institution you select; you can expect an approximation of 30-60k CAD more or less to study over there if you consider a two-year study.

Passport: Your original passport with a validity date of at least 6 months beyond your intended period of stay in Canada. -
Visa Application Form: A duly filled-out Canada Student Visa Application Form. -
Photo Specification: photograph with the frame size must be at least 35mmX45mm within the last six months. -
Cover Letter/SOP: It’s an SOP or study plan in which you mention your details, objectives, intentions, who will bear the expenses, etc. -
Confirmation of Enrollment: It’s the Letter of Acceptance that you got from your applied institution. -
Tuition Fees Payment Receipt: This receipt is proof that you have paid the tuition fees or deposit to the institution. -
Academic Documents: You require to attach your academic mark sheets and certificates, like SSC, HSC, Undergrad, etc. -
Financial Means: These are one of the most important papers you need. Many visa applications get rejected for these. Here, you have to prove the financial means to cover the costs for the time while studying. -
Birth Certificate: Scan-copy of your original birth certificate that can be verified online through the BDRIS server. -
Police Clearance: One police clearance certificate from your local police station (issued by the ministry) is required to prove that you have no criminal record. -
Health Assessments: You need to attach your Medical Test Reports here to prove that you are in good health condition to study there. You can do it upfront, but completing it after receiving a medical request is recommended.
However, these are the possible documents you will need for the visa application. You might need to submit
some additional documents, depending on your situation.

Processing time depends on various factors, but an error-free application will defiantly process faster. Of course,
other reasons or situations can come up that can delay the processing time. You can always check the processing
